Sony CEO Unconcerned About Cutting PS3’s Price

Sir Howard Stringer, Sony CEO, responded to the calls to lower the PS3’s price. In recent weeks a few third party publishers have made it clear that they would like to see Sony lower the price of their home console. Stringer called it “the nature of business.” Referring specifically to Activision CEO, Bobby Kotick, Stringer said, “He likes to make a lot of noise. He’s putting pressure on me and I’m putting pressure on him.” Kotick is the highest profile person calling for a slash in the price
